Dr. Jill Jenkins Inducted as 150th President of the Kansas Dental Association

On the evening of Thursday, April 29, 2021, the Kansas Dental Association held its 150th Annual Meeting of the General Assembly virtually via Zoom.

This was the second virtual meeting in the Association's history, the first being during the stay-at-home order in April 2020.

During the Annual Meeting, Dr. Jill Jenkins was inducted as the 2021-2022 KDA President. In addition, Dr. Adam Lukens joins the KDA Executive Committee as Secretary. 

About Dr. Jill Jenkins

Dr. Jill Jenkins was born and raised in the Kansas City area. She attended St. Thomas Aquinas high school and the University of Missouri-Kansas City to earn her Bachelor of Arts and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees. During dental school, she received the prestigious Dr. Iwersen Award and participated in many pediatric dental outreach opportunities.

Dr. Jenkins and her husband, Brad, moved to western Kansas after graduation from dental school to practice general dentistry. They lived in Quinter, Kansas and had practiced in both Quinter and WaKeeney, Kansas.

Later, Dr. Jenkins and her family moved back from western Kansas in 2003 to attend the UMKC post-graduate residency in pediatric dentistry at Children’s Mercy Hospital to become a kids’ dentist.

Dr. Jenkins has always had a passion for treating children, and in fact, does so with a mother’s touch. She has three children, two daughters, and a son. Dr. Jenkins greatly enjoys treating all children, especially children with special needs.
